Review by hotel critic
On my recent trip to Southampton, I found myself at a hotel conveniently located near the cruise terminal-ideal for my QM2 arrival. As someone who works remotely in the tech industry, I appreciated the hotel's business amenities. The air-conditioned conference suites were incredibly flexible, allowing for smooth transitions between meetings. Wi-Fi was reliable, which is crucial for video calls. The front desk staff were commendably attentive, especially when they assisted with some printing issues. Their willingness to help with my cruise tags demonstrated a customer-first approach. Despite dining at the hotel restaurant, the dinner options did feel limited, yet the Caesar salad stood out. Breakfast was a genuine delight, offering a variety of choices that made mornings enjoyable. For a small fee, it was a nice addition during my two-day stay. This hotel strikes a balance between convenience and professionalism, making it a practical choice for business travelers looking to blend work with the excitement of being in a cruise port.
